New headquarters in Grenchen, Switzerland

Infotech develops 100% of its systems and manufactures 95% of them in Switzerland. In order to continue to have enough space for this, the construction of the new company headquarters in Grenchen began with the ground-breaking ceremony in April 2023. The climate-neutral, 130 meter long building will provide Infotech with 9600 square metres of office and production space.

The building is designed in such a way that it can be extended by one storey over the entire built-up area if required. The foundations of the building are designed accordingly and the building services are positioned so that the extension can be realised with minimal adjustments if required.

The building envelope on the ground floor and first floor is made of electronically darkenable Merck glass, which ensures a high level of indoor comfort all year round without the need for mechanical solar shading. This allows the amount of daylight, solar heat and glare to be individually controlled.
